Eric,
Wasn't it a little cold cleaning the Fargo? I think the fenders are good idea only when you need them but the cascadia fenders by Planet Bike look good on a Fargo.
Ten mph climbing is not bad, I was pedaling around 4 in the mountains of Laos and a little girl was beside me running along and laughing at me. Great pictures and stories.

Awesome photos with some funny ones thrown in there...:) I really like the one of the hill climb looking downward. Where I live I see people on bikes all the time since I am near the Appalachian Trail. The hills are way steeper - but I haven't seen any out in the dead of cold. Yep, you all are brave cause there is no way I would do that in the freezing cold. Hopefully, you both have completely thawed out.

Enjoy the day next to a warm fire!

Peace!

I think I am in for a "treat" when I ride through the Appalachians when my son and I ride the Transamerica from east to west! In Kansas we can usually see the top of our hills and know there is a downhill soon.
I thawed out after cleaning the bike outside in the cold before bringing it in.
Glad you liked the post!

Really great shots, Eric. This looks like one of those "I'm-so-glad-I'm-back-I'm-glad-I-went" trips.
